Giants in the field of software - Microsoft says the next updated version of Windows Phone 7 operating system will provide over 500 new features for mobile phones.
According to CEO Steve Ballmer, the next updated version of Windows Phone codenamed Mango will bring over 500 new features. Speaking at the developer forum in Japan yesterday (23/5), Ballmer did not give many details on this update but promised to reveal more at an event in New York on Monday.
Microsoft is waiting nine new WP7 devices from manufacturers HTC, Acer, Dell and Samsung, but they will not be sold on the market until the holiday season this year.
Microsoft had previously announced a number of improvements needed to help users reduce WP7 trouble updating the software earlier this year. Multi-tasking applications of the third party is probably one of the biggest drawbacks of WP7 and Mango version will fix that.
In the upcoming Mango version will have a new version of mobile browser Internet Explorer 9 Mobile, Office 365 and SkyDrive support, Twitter integration, editing and Games Hub supports customizable ringtones, ... Mango will also allows the user to configure the service works on your desktop, view mail folders and conversations.
